Base: Hobgrot Hide

Citadel Base: Hobgrot Hide is a warm leather-brown base paint in a 12ml pot. Base paints have high coverage and a dense pigment load: a single even coat over primer fully covers the surface and lays down a rich base colour.

Hobgrot Hide is great for the skin of Hobgrots and Orruks, leather straps and armour, wood, furs and tack. It is a dependable warm foundation to layer lighter tones over and to deepen with a Shade.

Apply by brush over primer in one or two thin coats. It works well with Citadel Layer paints for highlights and with Shades for shadows.
