Citadel Base: Castellan Green is a deep, dark bottle green base paint in a 12ml pot. Base paints are fully opaque and made for solid, flat coverage in one or two coats — the essential first layer of colour on a primed miniature.
A deep, dark green ideal as a base for armour plating, robes and cloth, and equally useful for foliage and scenery bases in a Warhammer 40,000 or fantasy collection.
Apply in thin, even coats to avoid pooling in recesses; two light coats give better coverage than one thick one. Once dry, it's ready for Citadel Shade and Layer paints on top.
