BASE: RAKARTH FLESH

Citadel Base: Rakarth Flesh is a pale grey-beige stone tone base paint in a 12ml pot. Base paints are fully opaque and made for solid, flat coverage in one or two coats — the essential first layer of colour on a primed miniature.

A pale grey-beige tone that reads equally well as aged flesh, weathered bone or stonework, making it a handy base for statues, ruins and undead or Necron-adjacent scenery.

Apply in thin, even coats to avoid pooling in recesses; two light coats give better coverage than one thick one. Once dry, it's ready for Citadel Shade and Layer paints on top.
