BASE: THOUSAND SONS BLUE

Citadel Base: Thousand Sons Blue is a mid, slightly desaturated blue base paint in a 12ml pot. Base paints are fully opaque and made for solid, flat coverage in one or two coats — the essential first layer of colour on a primed miniature.

The signature colour of the Thousand Sons Traitor Legion, this mid, slightly desaturated blue is the standard base coat for their power armour and Rubric Marines.

Apply in thin, even coats to avoid pooling in recesses; two light coats give better coverage than one thick one. Once dry, it's ready for Citadel Shade and Layer paints on top.
