Citadel Layer: Zamesi Desert is a sandy tan layer paint in a 12ml pot. Layer paints are semi-transparent and made to go over a base: use them to build the mid-tone and highlights on edges and raised detail.
A sandy tan highlight popular for desert-themed Tau, Necron or Imperial Guard colour schemes, and equally useful for dry, sandy basing.
Apply in thin coats thinned with water so your transitions stay smooth. For a final highlight, add a lighter tone. Compatible with the Citadel Base, Shade and Contrast ranges.
