TECHNICAL: MARTIAN IRONEARTH

Citadel Technical: Martian Ironearth is a 24ml texture paint for creating a cracked, dry-earth effect. As it dries, the thick formula cracks on its own to form a realistic crust of scorched Martian soil in a rusty red-brown tone.

It is ideal for desert-style bases, Adeptus Mechanicus forge worlds, burned battlefields and any arid Warhammer 40,000 landscape. Apply with a spatula or an old brush in a thick layer straight onto the base — the thicker the layer, the larger the cracks.

Once dry, shade the cracks with a Shade and drybrush to bring out the texture. It works well alongside other Citadel Technical paints and weathering pigments.
