Flexible masking tape for intricate and precise model making, military modeling, plastic modeling and any miniature projects. No paint bleed or annoying paint lines. U.V. protected for masking in direct sunlight.
Why It’s Useful
For model-builders working with small components or detailed areas, the 6 mm width is narrow enough to allow precise masking while wide enough to hold firmly.
The claim of “no paint bleed” means the adhesive and tape edge are designed to prevent paint seeping underneath, which is critical for crisp results on models or miniatures.
U.V. protection means you can use it in bright light or under modeller’s lamps without the tape degrading or leaving adhesive residue due to UV exposure—helpful if you do airbrushing or outdoor work.
Having two rolls gives a backup or you can dedicate one roll for one colour or area and the second for another, improving workflow.
Ideal Use Cases
Masking off panel lines or sections on aircraft, tanks or vehicles in scale modelling.
Protecting previously painted areas while airbrushing or spraying a different colour.
Miniature figures where you might want to mask tiny parts (helmets, armour, etc) before applying metallics or effects.
Any hobby scenario where you need a reliable tape that won’t leave residue or mess up your finish.
