Best Use Tips

After applying washes or heavily pigmented layers, use the comb brush to drag excess pigment or paint to create streaks or directional texture (rain trails, rust, aging).

Between coats, clean properly (synthetic fibers are easier to clean than many natural ones) so the "comb" spacing remains consistent and the brush keeps its shape.

Use light pressure: pressing too hard can flatten or spoil the comb shape effect.

Great for highlighting wood grain, bark texture, metal scratches, or even subtle fur/hair textures on figures.
